Sadieville sits 1.8 miles to the east of Interstate 75, 10 miles north of Georgetown off exit 136, and is poised for some very positive family oriented development. With its rolling landscape and it’s access to 3 major highway systems, it allows unlimited exposure to residential, commercial and light industry around the interstate exchange.
Our new comprehensive plan has been established for the city by the current City Commission and approved by the Scott County Planning Commission. It has made areas around the interstate exchange available for possible development.
Sadieville has been very fortunate to secure monies for a new sewer project that will include the interstate exchange. This infrastructure will further enhance the development opportunities for the northern part of Scott County. With the current fuel prices and the constraints on folks lives, this would avail opportunities for area residents to do shopping closer to their homes and not spend valuable time away from their families. There are hundreds of homes in a radius of 5 miles that could be serviced by this exchange. This area is prime for development, and would be very appealing to the entrepreneur who is looking for fresh opportunities to bring services to northern Scott County.
